Frank J. Austin aka Manyhorses was born of Witsuwiten ancestry in the Bulkley Skeena region of North Western British Columbia, Canada, and raised by his grandparents, both Traditional Medicine people, until he was 15. Shamanic practices and traditional healing were, and continue to be, his way of life.He travels extensively as a traditional native healer and has been a featured speaker and workshop leader. Frank walks his talk and shares the Wisdom of the Elders with those who need help. Manyhorses uses traditional healing psychology. He teaches the Path of Absolute Truth. John DeGrace has been practicing vipassana meditation (in the Theravadatradition of Buddhism) for nineteen years under the instruction of senior teachers at the Insight Meditation Society and the Barre Centre for Buddhist Studies in Massachusetts, USA. Mark Christopher Moote was born in St. Catharines, Ontario in 1952, and at the age of 15 moved to the Diocese of Saskatchewan, with his parents and two brothers Garth 18 and Christian 3. After six years of radio and television broadcasting throughout Western Canada, he attended the University of Saskatchewan and Emmanuel/St. Chad in Saskatoon, SK. and was ordained in The Anglican Church of Canada in March 1984. Mark has served at Thunder Bay, ON., and Sudbury, ON., where his two sons live. Garth is married to Brigitte with two girls, Trista and Amber, and Paul with Selena have 3 children, Ashley, Max and Paulena. In 2000 Plain and Valley parish invited Mark to Lumsden, SK. and then in 2003, another calling as Regional Dean inducted him as Rector of Whitesand parish for two years! Then his 3 year term began in St. Saviour's Pro Cathedral at Nelson, in the Diocese of Kootenay, B.C. since November 2005. Due to the ever changing faces of church life, Mark with his wife Linda, her Mother Florence, and two dogs, Sam and Muzu now reside in Quesnel, B.C. since 2008. |
