Canadian Muslim Community Mourns the Loss of Innocent Lives in Egypt Mosque Terror Attack

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Canada condemns terror attack in Egypt

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada condemns the horrific attack that took place at the Al-Rawda mosque in Egypt and expresses its deepest condolences to the victims and their families. It is reported that attackers planted explosives and then opened fire on worshippers, killing at least 235 people and leaving more than 109 others injured.

We are extremely grieved by the devastating attack that took place on a mosque in Egypt,” says National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada, Mr. Lal Khan Malik. “It is horrifying that an attack of this nature would occur – especially at a mosque where peaceful worshippers were gathered to offer prayers."

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada prays for solace and fortitude for all those left bereaved or affected in any way by this tragedy.
