Muslim Community Condemns Horrific Attack in London, Ontario

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada heartbroken to learn of attack targeting Muslim family

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada is shocked and distraught to learn of the heinous attack in London, Ontario which targeted a family of five due to their Muslim identity, killing four of them and seriously injuring the other.

It is reported the driver mounted his pick-up truck over a curb and struck the family while they were out for a walk.

“We are utterly devastated and heartbroken to learn of this hate-motivated and senseless attack on an innocent family,” said National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada, Mr. Lal Khan Malik. “There must be no place for hate and intolerance in Canada and our deepest thoughts and prayers are for the victims and their family.”

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada is taking all precautions necessary and urging members to remain vigilant.
