Assisting Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh

Humanity First is holding a Dine and Let Humanity Shine - Fundraising Dinner to continue to assist Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. The details of the program are:

  • Date: Friday, December 1st, 2017 – Registration at 6:30pm
  • Venue:Toronto Grand Banquet & Convention Centre
  • Address: 16 Hwy 27, Etobicoke, ON M9V 3Z2
  • Tickets: $70 per person or $700 per table

Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh are in urgent need of assistance. Nearly 400,000 Rohingya refugees have fled to Bangladesh with numbers increasing every day.

Humanity First is actively working at Shalampur camp in Bangladesh to assist thousands of refugees in the assigned camp. Humanity First has setup medical camp providing emergency medical relief, serving hot food to over 1000 refugees daily, installing hand pumps for clean water and setting up portable toilets.

In the past, Humanity First has responded to various natural disasters in Haiti, Nepal, Bangladesh, Philippines, Caribbean and Indonesia, Ebola relief in Africa, Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts in USA East coast, famine in north east Africa, Japan tsunami, Haiti earthquake and Pakistan floods.
