Islamic Heritage Month - Ottawa

Come join the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in celebrating Islamic Heritage Month! On Friday, October 6th, we’ll be holding a public exhibition in City Hall Ottawa (110 Laurier Ave. West) from 2:00 pm-8:00 pm.

Drop by anytime! The exhibition will feature a Quran exhibit, Presentations on "Life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)", "Women in Islam", and "Misconceptions about Islam". Arabic calligraphy, free henna application, a booth where you can try on hijabs, exhibits of Islamic artifacts, books by prominent Muslims, an exhibit to showcase the humanitarian work done by Canadian Muslims, and food!

Reception with dignitaries at 4:00 pm, many dignitaries and politicians will be visiting the exhibition, including the Mayor of Ottawa, many members of parliament, some ministers, party leaders, local MPPs, city councilors, ambassadors/high commissioners, and local area faith leaders.
