CANADA’S FOREIGN MINISTER CALLS ON HEAD OF AHMADIYYA MUSLIM JAMAAT IN LONDON

Canada’s Foreign Minister, John Baird MP, visited the World Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad at the Fazl Mosque in London. His Excellency, Gordon Campbell, the Canadian High Commissioner to the LONDON, 25 January 2012 UK and other members of staff were also present at the meeting which lasted around forty minutes.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister mentioned how the Canadian Government was in the process of setting up an ‘Office of Religious Freedom’ and sought the views of His Holiness about how such an Office should function.
Various Interfaith Symposiums are being organized by Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at across Canada. These events are excellent source of learning about Islam and other religions, particularly their views on various topics:

The Qur`an Class - Learn Holy Qur`an Online
Learn Tarteelul Qur`an and Translation
In addition to Ta`limul Quran Classes being held locally, you can also learn Holy Qur`an remotely from your home. Department of Ta`limul Qur`an is pleased to offer live Holy Qur`an online classes. All you need is a computer with a microphone and headset attached.
The Classes will resume from September 05, Monday as per following Schedule:
Monday to Thursday:
First Class: 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Second Class: 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sunday:
2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.(Starting October 2nd, 2011)
Mubashira Degree will be awarded upon completion of 3 years program
Classes begins in September 2012
Application accepted up till May 31, 2012

Run for Vaughan is an Annual event organized by
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Maple. It is a 10 Km.charity run called
"Run for Vaughan" to raise funds for building a future
hospital in city of Vaughan. This event is endorsed by City of
